Step Count
Step Count

Forgot to include my step count chart in my June 26 Recap.

2% shy of goal for the month but still 3% ahead YTD.

Now on to recapping Q2.

1: What I Watched

FIFA Highlights
FIFA Highlights

We watched almost all of the Mexico & US games live in their entirety. For most others, the extended highlights on FoxSports YouTube channel have been great.

PLUR1BUS
PLUR1BUS

This show was OK. I mostly watched it because it's from the creators of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, and the lead is Rhea Seehorn, the actress who plays Saul's better half.

Your Friends & Neighbors
Your Friends & Neighbors

Season 2 of Your Friends & Neighbors was good, but not as good as S1. Sometimes it's hard to believe how many bad decisions a person can make in a row, or how much bad luck one person can suffer.

2: What I Read

Supercommunicators

I shared my notes on this book here.

Inside the Box
Inside the Box

I'm ~65% of the way through this book, but don't have the urge to finish. I had high hopes because I LOVED the author's other book, Range. May have to call it quits and start something else.

3: What I Listened To

ICEMAN
ICEMAN

Maneesh on the beat, SHEBANG!

I'm single-handedly responsible for keeping this Drake album at the top of the charts.

4: Best New Tech

SHOKZ New OpenRun Pro 2 Mini
SHOKZ New OpenRun Pro 2 Mini

Dia's mom gifted me these headphones for Father's Day, and they're a complete game-changer. Between listening to music or podcasts and making calls, I had my AirPods in ~4 hours per day. The inside of my ears have been perpetually itchy for the past year+. The SHOKZ New OpenRun Pro 2 Mini solved that in less than a week.

They don't connect to Bluetooth as easily as AirPods, and the battery life isn't amazing, but I'm still a huge fan because they solve a huge problem for me.

5: Quote That Resonated

From James Clear's 3-2-1 Newlsetter

"Getting what you want out of life largely boils down to (1) the story you tell yourself and (2) where you direct your attention.

What story do you tell yourself about what has happened to you, what you're capable of, and what you hope to achieve? Is the conversation in your head each day empowering and encouraging you, or holding you back?

And are you taking control and directing your attention toward what matters or merely letting inertia pull you along? Most things don't matter and most actions won't deliver a result. Focus.

Master your internal monologue and master your daily attention. Most tips, tricks, and tactics ultimately come back to these two things."

6: What I'm Most Looking Forward To

I have 8 sales closings lined up for Q3. It'll amount to well over $13M+ in real estate off the books. For reference, I did ~$10M in sales in all of 2025.

I can't wait to pay off these hard money loans, pay back my investors, and take Dia out on a proper date. 😌

And then start all over again. 😅
