Baby girl turned 6. 😭
1. Whose cutting onions?
2. Who taught her this pose?
7-Bullet Sunday
I haven't done one of these since Q4 of '25.
Let's see if anything I've been up to is remotely interesting.
What I'm Reading:

- Pre-Suasion: A Revolutionary Way to Influence and Persuade by Robert Cialdini.
This book explains how to prepare people to be receptive to a message before they experience it. I've been using these methods to have better conversations with prospective sellers when trying to buy their homes. I'm fully convinced the ability to create slippery slopes is a superpower.

- The Book of Elon: A Guide to Purpose and Success by Eric Jorgensen.
This is less of a book and more of a curation on steroids. It's basically a bunch of quotes by Elon organized by topic in an order that's super easy to read.
Eric also wrote the Navalmanack using the same method. 10/10 recommend both.
What I'm Watching:

- Paradise Season 2 - Disney / Hulu
Sterling K. Brown & Shailene Woodley go together like cookies and cream.

- Shrinking Season 3 - Apple
Dr. Paul Rhoades, a Therapist w/ Parkinson's, is my all-time favorite character played by Harrison Ford. Fight me.
What I'm Listening To:

Russ & Laurie
I just got back on Apple Music because it's a free perk of being a Chase Sapphire Reserve holder.
I last had it back in ~2020, and my most-played artists at the time were Russ & the Laurie Berkner Band. Two completely different vibes, but I'm really enjoying them both again. I'm blasting Russ at the gym or in the car alone & Laurie Berkner is a welcomed change in my children's music diet.
What I'm Most Looking Forward To:
- Short Term: Trip to Baha Mar
We're going back to Baha Mar! This time with my business partner's family. We're celebrating a few successful projects and "intentionally taking the relationship to the next level".
There's a funny saying, "don't do business with friends". I wonder if the same applies to the opposite, "don't make friends in business". Nonsense. It's going to be great.
- Long Term: Reconvene LA
I just booked my trip back to LA to attend Reconvene 2026. Bonus points for arriving one day early to spend some time with my brudda from anudda mudda, YB.
Which Supplements I'm Taking (again):
- Red Yeast Rice
- Psyllium Husk (Metamucil)
My Primary ordered another lipid panel in a few months. I'm fully expecting my LDL & Total Cholesterol to drop meaningfully from recent highs.
What I Can't Live Without:

This has been a relatively tame Spring as far as my allergies go. I give a lot of credit to my air purifier, which we have running 24/7 in our bedroom with the door closed.
I'm still on the fence, but I might spring for a Jaspr Air Scrubber for our main living area as a birthday gift to myself.
Idea I'm Getting Behind:

I've been following the progress of this new school pretty closely. Mainly because I believe in the founder's ability to execute on their promise.
At Forge Prep, students learn by doing - building real businesses, conducting original research, and designing products people use. With 1:1 coaching and mentorship from accomplished professionals, they develop the confidence and grit to take on anything.
Their first campus opens Fall 2026 in Livingston, NJ, starting with grades 5-8, growing to 12th.
Almost wish Luna was 5 years older, but this is good - they have time to work the kinks out before she potentially attends.
