SSS #110: 4 Favorite Formulas For REI

Newsletter

We delisted and relisted the Madison Duplex to reset the days on market. Had a handful of showings and ended up receiving multiple offers. It's in attorney review...again. Hoping this buyer sticks. 🀞🏽

Little to no movement on the triplex in Elizabeth. The oil tank will be pulled the first week of November. A few investors have shown interest in taking that property off our hands. To be clear, I wouldn't be mad about tackling that project myself.

The duplex in Westfield is also gaining traction. A vacant top unit makes it attractive to owner-occupants looking to househack.

In the News: Goldman Sachs now projects that home prices will grow another 16% by the end of 2022.

PSA: Please, please, please start buying assets. Your future self will thank you.

My 4 Favorite Formulas to use When Analyzing Real Estate Investments

This video was probably the hardest one to make yet.

The script was incredibly difficult to write. I started it 2+ weeks ago and kept pushing it off.

I like to think of my content as educational storytelling. Sharing a personal experience in an informative way comes relatively easy to me. However, being strictly educational (like a teacher at the whiteboard) is really tough to pull off.

And for some reason the audio in this video sucks. Maybe I'm being too hard on myself. Let's see if I bounce back next week. πŸ’ͺ🏽

The YouTube course I enrolled in starts on 11/1. I have this unrealistic expectation that it'll solve all my problems. I know that won't be the case, but it feels reassuring for now.

Here’s how I’m tracking against my YouTube goals:

βœ… 11 / 100 videos published

βœ… 59 / 1,000 subscribers

βœ… 53 / 4,000 hours of watch-time
