Breakfast w Santa

This is the first time Luna didn't cry before a picture with Santa. I had to hold her, but still. #Progress. She made those cards the morning of, and they were so appreciative.

7-Bullet Sunday

Every ~quarter, I like to share some resources / activities I've been enjoying.

Let's get into it.

1) What I'm Most Excited About Right Now:

    1. Christmas Spirit: I never had a chance to believe in Santa. I was born a few years after my parents came to America, so they weren't really jiggy with it. I'll admit I've been a little "grinchy" the past few holiday seasons, mainly because of the pro-consumerism side of it all. This year feels different. I'm starting to see and enjoy the fruits of traditions established <5 years ago with friends and family during this special time of year.

2) What I'm Reading:

    1. Open by Andre Agassi - If you're into Biographies, you must read this book. It's probably the best opening chapter(s) I've read since Endurance.
    2. The Case for Anti-Scale by Justin Welsh - This (4-minute read) article hit my inbox at the perfect time. Justin makes a compelling argument to stay lean and nimble at the exact moment I debate how much I want my business to grow in 2026.

3) What I'm Watching:

    1. Black Rabbit - Halfway through this show with Jason Bateman & Jude Law. It's one of those "just when you think things can't get worse"... someone gets their finger chopped off.
    2. Stranger Things Season 5 - Self-explanatory. At this point, we're all watching to see how realistically these 20-somethings play kids in high school.
    3. Nobody Wants This Season 2 - I'm a sucker for a good romcom, and this checks all the boxes.

4) What I'm Listening To:

    1. Harry Mack Freestyles - This guy does listener-prompted freestyles on Omegle, and every single one would win Freestyle Friday on 106 & Park. A few favorites:
      1. Blasphemy
      2. Hypest Prom Ever
      3. Rap on a UK Drill Beat*
    2. Auditions Better Than the Original - I love listening to auditions of people who win the "Golden Buzzer" on America's Got Talent, X-Factor, or The Voice. So jealous of and happy for "regular" people who make worldwide hits their own.

5) Activity I'm Enjoying (again):

    1. Walking - I made it a point to hit 10k steps per day in June 2025. It wasn't easy. I spent the last hour of every day just chugging away on my walking pad. Since then, I regressed to my average ~5k/day. A few weeks ago, I decided to wake up at 530a to get ~3,000 steps in before any other obligations. I'm hitting 10k/day with no issue now. I might do a 30k/month challenge for all of 2026. Who's with me?

6) Tool I'm Using Daily:

    1. Mac Mini M4 - My 7-year-old MacBook Pro crapped out earlier this year. I ended up getting a Mac Mini M4, and I couldn't be happier. Not having a laptop is sometimes inconvenient, but I also like the idea of having a "work station".

7) Supplement I'm Taking

    1. Not really a supplement, but I've replaced my usual breakfast with one box of Trader Joe's Organic Chicken Bone Broth. I don't think this will last past the holiday season. There could be some health benefits to drinking bone broth, but if I'm being honest, I'm mostly doing it for the calories (21g of protein with only 90 calories). Our weekends this time of year are indulgent AF. Holiday parties aren't known for having the healthiest foods. Instead of fighting it or relying on willpower, we're doing what we can at home to stay on track.
