September 2025 Update

I want to take a second to pat myself on the back for hitting publish on this newsletter every single Sunday morning for the past 6(!!!!!!) years.

312 weeks in a row without fail. I am the Jerry Seinfeld of writing weekly newsletters.

In honor of 6 years strong, this week is gonna be short, sweet, and strictly business.

  1. Project Fairmount
    1. Missed our delivery date (9/30) 😭
    1. New Closing Date (10/17) šŸŽ‰
    2. House is done, just administrative details at this point
  2. Project Weston
    1. Trying to hit a 10/31 closing date
    2. Will likely actually be 11/15 šŸ˜…
    3. Interior is 99% done, mostly exterior and administrative at this point
  3. Project Townsend
    1. The foundation is 90% complete
    2. We had the sobering realization that we went overboard on this house
      1. Too much square footage
      2. Too many windows
      3. Just... too much.
    3. Deal will still be profitable, but whoever buys this house is going to get an insane value for their money.
  4. Project Willow
    1. Demo is complete
    2. Framing started
    3. Windows ordered
  5. Project Kice
    1. Demo Permit Submitted
    2. Stretch-goal is to complete Foundation by the end of October
  6. Project Girard
    1. We are cleared to close for tomorrow.
    2. Main goal for October is to submit for Permits
      1. Floorplan is already finalized
  7. Project Lum
    1. Closing pushed another 2 weeks to 11/15.
    2. Seller needs help figuring out how to move a 900lb gun safe.
